60.5- Sailor Moon R by VIZ (Steven)

No, you're podcast feed isn't on the fritz, this actually is a revisit of a movie we already reviewed, back in Episode 42.5! And which member of FUAR would be dastardly enough to return to a franchise? Why the same man who picked from the Terminator universe 3 times, Steven Zurita! Viz Media's had the English dubbing rights to Sailor Moon for a few years now, redubbing the show in a more faithful Japanese translation than the original run in the 90s, and they just redubbed the same movie we reviewed a few summers back and released it in theatres! With so many ways to watch the same movie now, Steven decided it'd be a good opportunity to talk about the differences between the Pioneer and VIZ dubs and what it was like seeing this 24 year old movie in theatres for the first time.

If you haven't seen this movie in any iteration at all, I highly reccomend you check out our review of it in Episode 42.5 to get an actual review of this movie, as this episode's more of a discussion of differences between the versions and the philosophies of dub culture.

43- Akira (James)

It is the year 20XX. The FUAR crew are as strong as ever, but now roll separately, each in their own futuristic biker gang. Separate that is, until one fateful evening, when James' pick of the 1988 anime classic Akira brings them back together. Now, they must work together to review it, or by consumed by its power in trying.

42.5- Sailor Moon (Strawburry17)

Special guest Strawburry17 joins the FUAR crew to share one of her all time favorites: Sailor Moon! Steven and James could not be more thrilled, but was Michael able to resist the powerful sleeping agent known as anime? Will he ever tell the others his big joke? Will Steven defend the city from the Socks-with-sandals monster on this week's action-packed Challenge?? All this and more on this week's FUAR!

Steven's mic is a little finicky at the beginning, but the issue is quickly resolved.

12- Princess Mononoke (James)

Great Picture

The Red Horseman called War cometh! The apocalypse is nigh, as we draw the third cycle of From Under a Rock to a close! Other signs of the end times are the gang discussing (surprise) further merchandising of their podcast (From Under a Muffin Top, anyone?), the 23-year-old's equivalent of the Hollywood lifestyle, and (possibly more surprising) the film Princess Mononoke.

Stick around until the end, and by that I don't just mean the end of all time as we know it, and find out what our pick for next week is. Write us in at, or tweet @FuaRockPodcast. Until then!
